(Sullivan) 2021
We gathered out in the cold to watch the dancers dancing
Slow swirling patterns across the Northern sky
We have come so very far to find what we are seeking
It only lasts a moment but what a moment it has been
As the snow flies from the farthest reach of Eden
We’re surrounded by all the light that I will ever see
I never saw your face, you were gone before my arriving
Leaving blood stories running in my veins
I picture you listening to the ice and the spirit wind blowing
And the yelping dogs all restless to be gone, to be gone
So let’s be gone then - to the farthest reach of Eden
To be surrounded by all the light that I will ever see
